Joe Lino
is a multifaceted theater artist based in Milwaukee with over a decade of experience performing on both regional theater stages and off-Broadway, notably at the Steppenwolf Theater Company, The Goodman Theater, Victory Gardens Theater, Actors Theater of Louisville, and the BAM Harvey Theatre in New York.
As a playwright, his work Small world premiered at The New Colony in Chicago, earning a Jeff Award nomination for Best New Work. Additionally, Lino’s creative endeavors extend beyond the stage as a leading member of the multimedia production studio FuzzPop Workshop. At FuzzPop, he injects his theatrical experience into innovative projects like Deep Lake Future, an immersive adventure that combines interactive art with cutting-edge technology to explore environmental themes. Alongside his artistic pursuits, Lino freelances in content creation, graphic design, and social media management.
Andy Hobgood
is a playwright, author, and director based in Chicago and Milwaukee. He is the founder of The New Colony, a not-for-profit theater company dedicated to supporting new playwrights and artists creating new works. Hobgood has written and directed numerous plays throughout his career, including 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche, which ran Off-Broadway and is published with Concord Theatricals. He is also a freelance copywriter and blogger with a talent for crafting powerful, engaging content that resonates with audiences. Throughout his career, Hobgood has been a tireless advocate for emerging artists, and his commitment to supporting new voices in the theater world has earned him widespread recognition and acclaim. He has been featured in numerous publications, including the Chicago Tribune and New York Times, and has received awards for his work, including the Emerging Theater Award in Chicago and Outstanding Production at FringeNYC.
